I’m Cerenity Frederick, a freshman studying Legal Communications, and I’ve been dancing for four years. Currently, I dance with the Beacon Liturgical Dance Ministry, Howard Chapter. Soul Movement Dance Studio has been more than just a place to dance — it’s become a source of growth and strength. Through dance, I’ve gained a newfound confidence, a sense of belonging, and the tools I need to navigate the challenges of life. It’s given me a family and taught me to embrace my individuality, to step outside the box, and do so with authenticity and style. As the Pageant Coordinator for Howard’s Mister and Miss Royal Court, I carry these lessons into every role I take on, always remembering the power of self-expression and community.
